1991's "Proof Through The Night" remains the one and only "solo" release from David Victor. This album was an early hint of the pop-rock stylings of what was to become the much heavier "Impact". "Proof" was a light-weight album, featuring guitar-driven pop a-la Rick Springfield, John Waite and Journey, among other bands you never hear of anymore.
"Proof" featured the punchy "Getaway Machine" as the opening track which sets the tone nicely for the rest of the album. The song builds from a low rumble to a full-out pop-fest with soaring vocals and an effective solo.
